1）BDO(1,4-Butanediol ) is a colorless viscous oily liquid, is an important organic and fine chemical raw material, is widely used in medicine, chemical industry, textile, paper, automobile and daily chemical industry and other fields.

2）BDO is the main raw material for the production of tetrahydrofuran (THF), and tetrahydrofuran is an important organic solvent. The polytetramethylene ether diol (PTMEG) obtained after polymerization is the basic raw material for the production of elastic spandex, which is mainly used in the production of high-elastic knitwear such as high-level sportswear and swimwear.

3）BDO is the basic raw material for the production of polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), which is one of the five most promising engineering plastics.

4）BDO's downstream product GBL (gamma-butanolide) is the raw material for the production of 2-pyrrolidone and NMP (N-methylpyrrolidone) products, which is an indispensable solvent material in the current production process of lithium batteries, resulting in a series of high value-added products such as vinylpyrrolidone and polyethylpyrrolidone, which are widely used in the fields of pesticides, medicine and cosmetics.

5）BDO has also developed some emerging downstream, which is widely used as a synthetic raw material for degradable plastic PBAT, and can be widely used in supermarket shopping bags, takeout lunch boxes, agricultural mulch, biomedicine and other fields.
